![]() While Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and some other apps can be signed into on the Roku TV, the connection is horrible. Neither televisions include a VHS or DVD player. The one in the living area is a Roku TV, and the one in the bedroom is the big CRT TV with cable and distorted pictures because it is so old. The worst part of the resort are the televisions. The resort did leave dish soap, sponge, dishwasher detergent, coffee, sweetener, creamer, and dish towels which is nice. The coffee maker had pieces missing for the filtered part, and the toaster’s cord was burnt. However, there were no cutting knives (only bread knives). The bathtub looks newer and is bigger than normal however, I tried to take an epsom salt bath one evening but the plug would not seal and hold water. There were plenty of bath and pool towels provided. The resort does provide sheeting and blankets for the bed, but I wish we would have brought more blankets as it does get cold in the room even in summer. ![]() The dining chairs are similar with padding that squishes to the hard surface. My husband and I are not heavy people, but we sink into the springs when sitting and it’s difficult to get out once seated. The couch was the worst as the cushions are completely unfit for seating. They look like they are from the 1980s or 1990s. However, the living and dining areas need new furniture desperately. The bed is an important aspect for me with any overnight stay, and it is fairly comfortable. The front and back decks look like they have also been recently replaced. Highlands at Sugar is near the top of Sugar Mountain, and our stay included a beautiful view of the mountains and valley. ![]()
